FinVault360 — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 August 2026
FinVault360 (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a personal finance app that
runs entirely on your device. This policy explains what information the
app stores, where it is stored, the device permissions it uses, and the
choices you have.
FinVault360 is offline-first: your financial data
stays on your device and is never sent to any server operated by us. We
do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.
In short
- Your financial and personal data is stored on your own
device.
- Data is encrypted at rest on the device.
- The app does not operate its own server and does
not send your financial data to us.
- We do not sell your data and do not
share it with advertisers.
- Backups are optional and go only to destinations
you choose (your own Google Drive, or a Full Backup
file you save/share yourself).
What data the app stores
Everything you enter stays on your device. This can include:
- Expenses, income, budgets and goals
- Accounts, balances, wealth, assets and liabilities
- Bills, reminders, trips and documents
- Family Vault records and any attachments you add
- Your name and email, if you choose to enter them in your
profile
- App settings, and your PIN or lock preferences (stored securely on
the device)
Where your data is stored
All of your data is stored locally on your device and is
encrypted at rest. The app does not send your financial
data to us or to any server we control. Data only ever leaves your
device if you choose to create a backup (see below).
Permissions and why they are
used
- Camera — used only when you choose to scan or
capture a document to fill a form on-device. Images are processed on the
device and are not sent to us.
- Photos / files — used only to attach a document or
receipt you pick.
- Biometrics (fingerprint / face) — used only to
unlock the app. Your biometric data never leaves your device and is
handled by the operating system.
- Notifications — used only for local reminders (such
as bills and renewals). They are generated on the device.
Google Drive backup
(optional)
Google Drive backup is optional and fully controlled
by you. It is off until you connect your own Google account.
- When enabled, the app saves your backup into your own Google
Drive using your own account. We never receive
or store this data.
- The app uses the narrow
drive.file
permission, which means it can only see and manage the backup files
it creates in your Drive — it cannot see any of your
other Google Drive files.
- Backup traffic to Google is over HTTPS.
- You can turn off sync or disconnect your Google account at any time
from Settings.
Full Backup file (optional)
A Full Backup is a single file that you create
yourself and choose where to save or share. It is always
encrypted with a password you set when you create it.
- The Full Backup includes your Family Vault records and
attachments; other backup types do not include them unless
stated.
- Because you choose where the file goes, you are responsible for
keeping it safe and for remembering its password.
Data sharing
We do not share your data with any third party for advertising or
analytics. The only time your data leaves your device is when
you use an optional backup or export that you initiate
yourself — and it goes to a destination you choose
(such as your own Google Drive or a file you save or share).
Deleting your data
- You can erase all app data from within the app using the
clear-all-data option in Settings.
- Uninstalling the app removes the data stored on
your device.
- Backups you created in your own Google Drive stay there until
you delete them from your Drive.
- Full Backup files you saved or shared stay wherever you put them
until you delete them yourself.
No bank linking or money
movement
FinVault360 does not link to your bank, does not read your bank
statements automatically, and does not move real money. It never
performs UPI transfers or any real payments. All figures are entered or
imported by you and are used only for tracking and planning.
Subscriptions and payments
FinVault360 offers an optional paid subscription. Payments are handled
entirely by the app store you downloaded the app from — the Apple App
Store or Google Play.
- We never see or store your card number, bank details or billing address;
the store processes the payment.
- To know whether your subscription is active, the app uses
RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. RevenueCat
receives only an anonymous, randomly generated app identifier and the purchase
receipt from the store — never your name, email, or any of your financial
records in the app.
- Your financial data stays on your device regardless of subscription
status.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in your App Store or
Google Play account settings.
Children
FinVault360 is intended for personal money management by adults and
is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the “Last updated” date shown
at the top. Significant changes may also be highlighted in the app.
